The objective of a learning network is to transfer the experiences of CMAG and the learning to sister CMA'S in terms of establishment, human resource development, program design and content, outputs and impacts. CMAG's experiences in this subject area, and impacts and learning would form the core of learning transfer. The idea is to push forward these CMAs towards their stated goals through networking.
The methodology will be organizing two-day workshops at the four capital cities viz. Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopaland Dheradun at mutually convenient dates. The overall workshop theme would be, 'Programs and Processes towards Effective CMAs'.
The output, apart from reports and feedback will be time-bound action plans with processes as inputs towards achieving the actions. A constant feedback mechanism will ensure monitoring and continuing technical support from CMAG.
The first workshop of the series was held in Banglore on the 26th of April where 46 Commisioners of Karnataka were present apart from the Banglore Commisioner & Principal Secretary UDD.
The next workshop in the series are planned in association withCMATN and CMAO in May/June 2003.
